<br />RESOLUTION
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a floodplain report entitled
<br />"Flood Insurance Study, EI Paso County, Colorado, Unincorporated Areas, Volumes 1-4", dated
<br />~enilier18, 1986; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed and approximate floodplain information for streams
<br />within unincorporated portions ofEI Paso County, as t1:tey were on ~enilier 18, 1986; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said report included, without revision, detailed floodplain information for certain stream
<br />reaches from other floodplain information reports that were previously designated and approved by the
<br />Colorado Water Conservation Board; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by the E1 Paso County, by
<br />Resolution No. 263, adopted on Novenilier 18, 1986, designated and approved the detailed and the
<br />approximate floodplain information included in said report; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a floodplain report entitled
<br />"Flood Insurance Study, El Paso County, Colorado, Unincorporated Areas, Volumes 1-4", revised
<br />March 2, 1989; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said report included on maps published on March 2, 1989 detailed and approximate
<br />floodplain information for streams within unincorporated portions of El Paso County, as they were on
<br />Decenilier 18, 1986 and included, by reference, on IDilPs published on Decenilier 18, 1986 as part of
<br />Resolution No. 263, detailed and approximate floodplain information for streaIns within unincorporated
<br />portions ofEl Paso County, as they were on Decenilier 18, 1986; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said report dated March 2, 1989 revised Resolution No. 263; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by the El Paso Regional Building
<br />Department, by Resolution No. 96-436, adopted on September 9, 1996, designated and approved the
<br />detailed and the approximate floodplain information iIlcluded in said report and rescinded portions of
<br />Resolution No. 263; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, a new report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, El Paso County, Colorado,
<br />Unincorporated Areas, Volumes 1-4", dated September 28, 1990 has been prepared by the Federal
<br />Emergency Management Agency; and
