All required information for ihis request, including the required review and processing fee, was received on July 30, 1998. Using the information submitted and the effective National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) map, we determined portions of the property described below are in a Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA), the area that would be inundated by the flood having a I-percent chance of being equaled or exceeded in any given year (base flood); however, the structure on ihe property is not in the SFHA. Although this property is shown on the current NFIP map in the unincorporated areas of Boulder County, Colorado, it has been annexed by the City of Longmont. This property wa, elevated by the placement of fill after the date of ihe earliest NFIP map showing the area in ihe SFHA. Property Description: Lot I, Block 2, Golden's Addition Replai A, as described in the Warranty Deed recorded as Instrument No. 01517231 in the Office of the Recorder, Boulder County, Colorado Street Address: 1841 Boston Avenue Flooding Source: St. Vrain Creek This letter revises the above-referenced NFIP map to remove the structure from ihe SFHA. The structure is nolV in Zone X (unshaded), an area of minimal flooding outside the SFHA. Flood insurance coverage for the structure may be available under a low-cost policy (see enclosed document). Because portions of the property remain in the SFHA, any future construction or substaniial improvement on the property remains subjeci to Federal, State, and local regulations for floodplain management.
