The LOMR is for the reach of the Cache La Poudre River
adjacent to the City of Greeley's Water Pollution Control Facility
(WPCF) .

The enclosed report by Brown and Caldwell is the result of a
thorough program to analyze the existing floodplain and floodway of
the Poudre River adjacent to the WPCF.

The WPCF is presently located within the regulatory floodway of the
Poudre River between Ash Avenue and U. S. Highway 85. By City
ordinance and FEMA regulations, improvements requiring new
construction within the floodway that adversely impact the floodway
are not allowed. This ordinance jeopardizes the required
improvements to the WPCF.

The City respectfully requests that the Colorado Water Conservation
Board review and approve the attached documentation to revise the
floodway. If you should require any additional information or have
any questions, please give me a call at (303)-350-9365 or Mr. Frank
J.
