" " r.\ ~,) -.1 No. 57 ') COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD 102 Columbine Building 1845 Sherman Street Denver; Colorado 80203 March 17, 1976 issued Master BE SOL U T! 0 .N 'WHEREAS, Wright-McLaughlin Engineers under date of June; 1975 a floodplain infbrmationreport under the title of "Lena Gulch Drainage Plan," Volumes One and Two; and WHEREAS, under date of July 9, 1975;the Colorado Water Con- servation Board by resolution designated and approved as flood hazard areas those areas which would be iriunclated,by an intermediate regional , (lOO-year) flood as set forth in said Wright-McLaughlin report ; and of the and . ., .' , , WHEREAS, it has, subsequently been determined that a portion floodplain set. forth in said report is incorrectly described; WHEREAS, a revision has been made on sheet 8 of Volume Two of said report to the lOa-year floodwater surface elevation by Wright- McLaughlin Engineers, under date of February 23,' 1976 which revision takes into consideration corrected topography for the channel and ,floodplain of certain portions of Lena Gulch;, and ,WHEREAS, the Urban Drainage and'Flbod Control District has requested the Colorado Water Conservation Board to revise the flood hazard designation made by the Board under date of July 9, 1975, in accordanc,e ,with the aforesaid revision; and WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has. reviewed the revised floodplain information, has consulted with Wright-McLaughlin Engineers and the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District, and concurs with the revised floodplain information and does hereby reconnnend to the Colorado Water Conservation Board that said Board approve the aforesaid " revision of the floodplain information heretofore' made on Lena Gulch; NOW, THEREFORE", BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water' Conser~ vation Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado, this 17th day of ,March, 1976, that it does hereby rescind arid revise that portion of the resolution adopted ,on July 9, 1975, describing a,certain floodplain along Lena Gulch i1"l'J-J:~ff,g_rsQn__~oun.t}'", insofar----as--such---- -c---resolution--pl?rnrins-co---EllliCportion of Lena Gulch in the vicinity, of Taft Street and West 34th Place extending from Station,92 + 00 to 98 + 50 Station of the plan and profile as shown on sheet 8 of Volume Two of said report; and does adopt in lieu thereof within the described reach the floodplain described on the revised sheet 8 dated February 23, 1976 of the Wright-McLaughlin Engineers' report as being inundated by ,an intermediate regional (laO-year) flood; and
