PDA 9700000000 I (Transvision job no.
97640). A total of 161 vertical positions were checked using the trigonometric functions of Topcon RTK
GPS equipment. Theses points were computer plotted and checked against the digital contour lines
provided.

We found that out of the 161 points checked, 7 points were out of the one contour interval requirement
and 42 were between the Y, contour interval and the one contour interval requirement. This makes 96%
of the points checked within one contour interval (plus or minus I foot), and 74% within one-half
contour interval (plus or minus Y, foot). The required standard is 100% and 90%, respectively.

Field verification of horizontal locations and planimetric features were taken randomly throughout the
project area. Of the points checked horizontally, 75% were within the contract specifications (1/40 inch
of map scale which is 1.25 feet) and 25% were not within the specifications. In addition, there were a
number of missing planimetric features such as street names, manholes, and water valves.

In summary, the overall mapping product was not completely satisfactory. However, due to the time
constraints of our engineering project, we have directed our local engineering contractor to make the
necessary adjustments and modifications to the mapping sheets on your behalf. The above referenced
mapping project is considered to be complete, and we will not require additional work effort by
Transvision on this project. Please call me if you have any questions.

Sincerely, ,/ ,..-7

, /.,~"'/ ~...
,,' /,-'., "/..-'.,,./

///-t;r-'? ,,"'... ct9~7

/ Thomas W.
