<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />FPR 312-91 <br /> <br />COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD <br />721 State Centennial Building <br />1313 Sherman Street <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> <br />March, 21, 1991 <br /> <br />R ~ ~ Q ~ ~ ! 1 Q N <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a floodplain information report entitled "Flood <br />Hazard Delineation, Lower Dad Clark Gulch and DF'A 0068," dated <br />November, 1990, has been prepared by Centennial Engineering <br />Inc., at the request of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control <br />District and the City of Littleton, Colorado; and ~ <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report includes detailed floodplain <br />information for the storm and floodwater runoff channels on the <br />Rangeview Gulch from its confluence with Lee Gulch upstream 1.7 <br />miles; Jackass Gulch from its confluence with the South Platte <br />River upstream 1.8 miles; and Lower Dad Clark Gulch and m'A <br />0068 from confluence with the South Platte River upstream 1.1 <br />miles; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the Ci ty of <br />Conservation <br />areas as set <br /> <br />the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District and <br />Littleton have requested the Colorado Water <br />Board to design~te and approve the floodplain <br />forth in the aforesaid report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1)(c), Colorado Revised <br />Sta tutes, requires the Colorado Water Conserva t ion Boa rd to <br />assist in the prevention of floods and flood damages therefrom; <br />, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sections 31-23-301 and 30-28-111. Colorado Revised <br />Statutes, provide that such legislative bodies of local <br />jurisdictions may provide zoning regulations for land uses on <br />or along any storm or floodwater runoff channel or basin only <br />after designation and approval ,by the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(l)(c), Colorado Revised <br />Statutes, directs the Colorado Water Conservation Board to <br />designate and approve storm or floodwater runoff channels or <br />basins and to make such designations available to legislative <br />bodies of local juiisdictions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has reviewed said report <br />and finds that it meets a 11 the applicable requirements for <br />designation as detailed floodplain information under the <br /> <br />4099E'" <br />
