The completion of this <br />report was a joint effort of the Corps of Engineers <br />and the District, <br /> <br />The Board of Directors of the, Urban Drainage and <br />Flood Control District, at their March 17 meeting, <br />passed Resolution No. 11, Series of 1977 (copy enclosed) <br />adopting this flood hazard area delineation report. We <br />request that the Colorado Water Conl3ervation Board con- <br />sider the 100-year flood plains described in the study <br />for designation as flood hazard areas, The study was <br />completed through cooperative efforts with Arapahoe <br />County, Aurora, Commerce City and Denver. These local <br />governments will be responsiole for regulating the <br />flood plain. <br />
