<br />-- <br />,..- <br /> <br />/ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />~ <br />r"._, <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD <br />'102 Columbine Building <br />1845 Sherman Street <br />Denver, colorado 80203 <br /> <br />June :21, 1974 <br /> <br />R E ~ 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />WHEREAS, McCall-Ellingson & Morrill, Inc., Consulting <br />Engineers, Denver, Colorado, ha~completed for the Urban Drainage <br />and Flood Control District a Major Drainageway Planning, Little <br />Dry Creek,Report, Volumes 1 ano.2, in Arapahoe County, City of <br />Englewood, Douglas County, City of Cherry Hills Village, city of <br />Greenwood Village, dated Februa~y 1974; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Report outlines and describes the flood <br />water runoff channels within the above described areas; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Article 149-1-11(4), Colorado Revised Statutes <br />1963, requires that the ColoradO Water Conservation Board designate <br />and approve storm or flood wate~ runoff channels and to make such <br />designations available to legislative bodies of local jurisdictions; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Article 139-60-1, Colorado Revised Statutes <br />1963, provides that such cities, towns, incorporated areas and, <br />local jurisdictions may provide zoning regulations for any storm <br />or flood water runoff channel ortly after designation and approval <br />by the Colorado Water Conservation Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the' Urban Drainage and Flood Control District <br />has requested the ColoradO Water Conservation Board to designate <br />and approve the flood hazard areas as set forth in the aforesaid <br />Report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the staff of the, Boar,d has reviewed said Report <br />and does hereby recommend to the Colorado Water con~ervation Board <br />that said Board designate and approve as flood hazard areas those, <br />areas-set- forth -in- the- Report as nefrigs-uoj eCt - tc;f:[ood'ing- by'-the <br />100-year flood under existing conditions. <br /> <br />,", <br />
