LILE, DIRECTOR COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD 721 CENTENNIAL BUILDING 1313 SHERMAN STREET DENVER, CO 80203 Colorado Waler Conservation Board In accordance with Section 37-60-106(1) (c) C.R.S., the City of Greeley, Colorado, hereby requests designation and approval of the following storm or flood runoff channels for the 100-year flood plain information as shown on the Flood Plain Maps for the report entitled ~Comprehensive Drainage Plan - City of Greeley - Sheep Draw Basin - October 1, 1997. This study was completed by Lidstone & Anderson, Inc. of Fort Collins, Colorado. The stream reach which is covered in this request is Sheep Draw, upstream of its confluence with the Cache La Poudre River. The results of this study are more accurate than the flood plain study performed in the 1970's for the current regulatory maps and compare favorably with the ~Special Study - October 1981 - Cache La Poudre River Basin - Larimer/Weld Counties, Colorado - Volume III - Flood Plain Analysis - Sheep Draw", performed by the U.S. Army Corps of E~gineers - Omaha District. The City of Greeley, Colorado, respectfully requests that the Colorado Water Conservation Board consider our designation at your May 11 and 12 meeting.
