No. 177 ,,' <br /> <br />COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD <br />823 State Centennial Building <br />1313 Sherman Street <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> <br />September 23, 1981 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0: N <br /> <br />,WHEREAS, A floodpiain information report entitled "FI.ood <br />Hazard Area Delineation, Weaver Creek," dated May, 1981, has been <br />prepared by Leonard Rice Consultlng Water Engineers, Inc., at the <br />request of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District, <br />Jefferson County, and the City of Lakewood; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report describes and outlines the floodplain <br />data and information for the storm and floodwater runoff channels <br />or basins of the study area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />requested, the <br />approve the <br />report; and <br /> <br />the Urban Drainage and Flood Control Distdcthas <br />Colorado Water, C.onservat'ion Soard to designate and <br />floodplain areas as set forth in the aforesaid <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />1973, requires <br />the prevention <br /> <br />Section 37-60-106(11, Colorado Revised Statut~s <br />the ~olorado Water Conservation Board to assist in <br />of floods and flood damages therefrom; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sections, 31-23-201 and 30-28-1'11, Colorado Revised <br />Statutes 1973, provide that such legislative bodies of local <br />jurisdictions may provide zoning regulations for land uses on or <br />along any storm or floodwater runoff channel or basin only after <br />designation and approval by the' Colorado Wdter Conservation <br />Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1}(c}" Colorado Revised Statutes <br />197~ rtir~f"t~ t'h.-..' rnlnr.;:.nn 'W~+,:o'T' ~nr'\C!o"'~,;,>+;'^", 'n.'^"....,..{.
