,WHEREAS, A floodpiain information report entitled "FI.ood
Hazard Area Delineation, Weaver Creek," dated May, 1981, has been
prepared by Leonard Rice Consultlng Water Engineers, Inc., at the
request of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District,
Jefferson County, and the City of Lakewood; and

WHEREAS, said report describes and outlines the floodplain
data and information for the storm and floodwater runoff channels
or basins of the study area; and

WHEREAS,

WHEREAS,

jurisdictions may provide zoning regulations for land uses on or
along any storm or floodwater runoff channel or basin only after
designation and approval by the' Colorado Wdter Conservation
Board; and

WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1}(c}" Colorado Revised Statutes

areas inundated by a 100-year flood (intermed iate regional flood)
as described by the floodwater surface elevatlo'ns and profiles in
said report,
