S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, <br />has completed for the Larimer-Weld Regional Planning Commission, <br />Flood Plain Information Report, Cache La Poudre River, Colorado, Volume <br />II, Greeley, Weld County, dated March, 1974; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Flood Plain Information Report outlines and <br />describes the floodwater runoff channels within the.above described <br />areas; and .. .' <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-l06(l)(c), Colorado Revised S.tatutes <br />1973, requires that the Colorado Water Conservation Board designate <br />and approve storm or floodwater runoff channels and to make such <br />designations available to legislative bodies of local jurisdictions; <br />and <br /> <br />) WHEREAS, Sections 30-28-111 and 31-23-201, Colorado Revised <br />Statutes 1973, provide that such cities, towns, incorporated areas and <br />local jurisdictions may provide zoning regulations for any storm or <br />floodwater runoff channel only after designation and approval by the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Greeley and the County of Weld have <br />requested the Colorado Water Conservation Board to designate and approve <br />the flood hazard areas as set forth in the aforesaid U. S. Army Corps <br />of Engineers Flood Plain Informatio_l Report ; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has reviewed said Flood Plain <br />Information Report and does hereby recommend to the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board that said Board designate and approve as flood hazard <br />areas those areas set forth in the report as being subject to an inter- <br />mediate regional flood; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conser- <br />vation Board in regular meeting assembled in D~I1y_ex,_Colorado,,-this--- '- <br />26th day_gf _f.ebruar.y-,- -l-9.75-that. -i-e -does-nereby designate and approve as <br />----rlood-fiazard areas those areas described as being inundated by an inter- <br />mediate regional flood as set forth in the Flood Plain Information <br />Report for Cache La Poudre River, Colorado, Volume II, Greeley, Weld <br />County, dated March, 1974; and <br /> <br />) <br />
