RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, a report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Commerce City, Colorado"
dated November 1977 (Undesignated) has been prepared by the Federal Emergency
Management Agency; and

WHEREAS, a report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Commerce City, Colorado"
dated January 1982 (Undesignated) has been prepared by the Federal Emergency
Management Agency; and

WHEREAS, a report entitled "Flood Hazard Area Delineation, Sand Creek" dated
March 1977, has been prepared by the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District; and

WHEREAS, a report entitled "Flood Hazard Area Delineation, South Platte River,
Adams County" dated September 1977, has been prepared by the Urban Drainage and
Flood Control District; and

WHEREAS, a report entitled "Flood Hazard Area Delineation South Platte River,
Denver Metropolitan Area, Sand Creek to Oxford Avenue," dated September 1985, has been
prepared by the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District; and

WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board as requested by the Urban
Drainage and Flood Control District, the City of Commerce City, Colorado and Adams
County, Colorado by Resolution No. 71 dated July 27, 1977, by Resolution No. 84 dated
November 15, 1977, and by Resolution No. 251 dated March 14, 1986, respectively,
approveu and designated floodplains described in said reports; and

WHEREAS, a new report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, City of Commerce City,
Colorado, Adams County," dated September 30, 1988, has been prepared by the Federal
Emergency Management Agency; and

WHEREAS, said new report includes revised detailed floodplain information for the
South Platte River and Sand Creek; and
