The office has <br />been furnished to include two offices, a conference room, reception area, and copy room. The conference <br />room seats more than 25 people and will be available for rent by other non-profit organizations for a reduced <br />rate. <br />Fund transfers have continued between the CWCB, Colorado Water Congress (CWC), and the <br />FOoodation. To date, the Fooodation has made requests for fund transfers for December, January, and March. <br />Food transfers for March are still pending. <br />On March 8, 2003 the Fooodation held its first Board Retreat. Independently facilitated by a <br />company specializing in organizational capacity building, Board members worked to develop both short- and <br />long-term strategic goals for the F ooodation. Goals were developed in the areas of educational programming, <br />fundralsing, marketing, and organizational development. The results of this meeting will be summarized for <br />the May CWCB Board meeting. <br />The Executive Director is using the strategic goals developed at the retreat as the basis for <br />development of the CFWE 2003-2004 Annual Scope of Work. This Scope of Work and the CFWE Annual <br />Report will be presented to the CWC Board in April and the CWCB Board at the May meeting. <br /> <br />Educational Programs <br />. Citizen's Guide to Colorado Water Law. After extensive review, 10,000 copies of the Citizen's <br />Guide were published in March. These will be distributed to members of the Legislature at no cost. <br />Over $1,000 in advance orders have been collected for the booklet.
