The purpose of this workshop is to discuss and prioritize <br />all identified stream reaches and natural lakes for field data collection efforts by the CWCB staffand <br />other parties, Any party who would like the CWCB to consider a stream or natural lake for <br />protection in 2003 should contact Board staff prior to January 31, 2002, <br /> <br />Recommended Streams and Lakes for inclusion into the 2003 Work Plan <br />Due to the current activity surrounding the proposed Deep Creek Wilderness Area, staff is <br />recommending the following streams and natural lakes be considered in the development of the <br />2002-03 Instream Flow Work Plan: <br /> <br />Streams and Natural Lakes located within the Proposed Deep Creek Wilderness Area including <br />Deep Creek and its Tributaries - [Water Division 5] <br />Staff is requesting that all streams and lakes located within the Proposed Deep Creek Wilderness <br />Area be considered in the 2002-03 Instream Flow Natural Lake Level Work Plan. <br /> <br />The CWCB currently holds an instream flow decree on Deep Creek for 14 cfs (51l - 9/30) and 8 cfs <br />(lOll - 4/30), <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Staff recommends all streams and natural lakes located within the Proposed Deep Creek Wilderness <br /> <br />Area including Deep Creek and its tributaries be considered in the development of the 2002-03 <br /> <br />Instream Flow and Natural Lake Level Work Plan. <br />January 2002 ISF Board Memo.
