Extends the repeal date of the special <br />water committee to July 1, 200l. <br />Extends the commencement of more stringent augmentation plans <br />for pumping from Denver basin aquifers to July 1, 200 l. <br />Authorizes the special water committee to oversee the state <br />engineer and the director of the Colorado water conservation board <br />studies of streambed conductance, stream gain-loss measurements, and <br />improved simulation of stream-aquifer interaction. <br />Requires the state engineer and the director of the Colorado water <br />conservation board to develop an improved ground water model and <br />improved data collection program to support the development of a <br />decision support system for the South Platte river basin. <br />Authorizes the state engineer to promulgate rules to enhance the <br />collection of data from wells in the Denver basin aquifers, <br /> <br />1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br /> <br />Be it enacted by the General Assembly o/the State o/Colorado: <br />SECTION 1. 37-90-137 (9) (c) (II) and (9) (c.5) (II), Colorado <br />Revised Statutes, are amended to read: <br />37-90-137.
