<br />Consent Agenda Item ld <br />Case No. 5-0lCW305; Basalt Water Conservancy District <br /> <br />Application Summary <br /> <br />This is an application for a change of water rights, a plan for augmentation (ulcludulg exchange), and <br />a conditional right of exchange. The Applicant proposes changulg the pOUlt of diversion from the <br />Basalt conduit to a number of identified wells and springs Ul PitkUl, Garfield and Eagle Counties (see <br />attached map). The augmentation plan contemplates augmentulg the depletions associated with the <br />wells and springs from Ruedi Reservoir, Green MOWltaUl Reservoir, Troy & Edith Ditch and the <br />Robulson Ditch.. <br /> <br />CWCB Appropriations <br /> <br />The Board holds ulstream flow water rights on the Fryulgpan River, decreed Ul Case No. 5- <br />73W1945 for 14 cfs, with an appropriation date of7/l2/l973; on the Roaring Fork River, decreed Ul <br />Case Nos. 5-85CW646 and 5-85CW639, for 55 cfs (4/1-9/30) and 30 cfs (10/1-3/31) and for 145 <br />(4/1-9/30) and 75 (10/1-3/31), respectively; and on the Crystal River, decreed Ul Case No. 5- <br />75W2720, for 100 cfs (5/1-9/30) and 60 cfs (10/1-4/30). <br /> <br />Potential for Iniurv <br /> <br />The CWCB's ulstream flow water rights on the Frylllgpan River, the Roaring Fork River, and the <br />Crystal River may be uljured, if the Applicant does not replace its out-of-priority depletions Ul time, <br />place and amount. <br /> <br />Other Obiectors <br /> <br />The other objectors Ul this case ulclude the City of Colorado Springs, Southeastem Colorado Water <br />Conservancy District, and TWUl Lakes Reservoir and Canal Company. <br /> <br />L\Boardmem\May 2002\ConsentAgendaItemNo Id.doc <br />
