Januarv 27.1999 <br />Call to Order <br /> <br />8:00 a.m. <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Colorado Water Conservation Board was held in the <br />Ballroom at the Holiday Inn Northglenn. 10 East 120th Avenue. Northglenn. <br />CO 80233. The meeting was called to order at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday. <br />January 27.1999. by Chairperson Allen Davey. Nine voting members were <br />present at the time of call to order so there was a quorum (at least six <br />required). Board members present on this date were Patricia Wells. Janice <br />Sheftel. David Smith. Ray Werner. Bob Burr. Alan Hamel. Eric Kuhn. Allen <br />Davey. Bill Brown. Greg Walcher. State Engineer Hal Simpson. Felicity <br />Hannay (representing the Attorney General) (alternating with Ken Salazar. <br />Attorney General). Bruce McCloskey (representing the Division of Wildlife <br />Director) and CWCB Acting Director Peter Evans2 <br /> <br />Note: While many agenda items were taken out of order due to attendee convenience. these <br />minutes are listed in agenda item order for easier reference. <br /> <br />1. Review and Approval of Agenda and Next Meeting Dates <br />Tape 1. Start/Stop: 0001 - 0339 <br />Action: There were several additions to the agenda. which were noticed in <br />the "AddedlDeleted Agenda Item Notice" from January 23. 1999. <br /> <br />lA complete record of the meeting has been made on audio cassette tapes. The tapes and the associated staff memoranda are the only legal record of <br />the meeting. These written sunnnaries are intended only as an aid to research and a guide to the tapes. The motions described herein may not <br />necessarily represent a verbatim transcription. Agenda items are presented in numerical order, according to the Agenda for the meeting. Tape numbers <br />and approximate locations are identified for the beginning and end of each agenda item. <br />These tapes are available for listening at the CWCB during regular office hours. Arrangements to make copies of the tapes or written transcripts of <br />specific agenda items may be made at the requestor's expense. Notes from the meeting for identification of times and tapes for specific agenda items <br />can also be reviewed at the CWCB offices. <br />2Voting tallies are based on members present for voting. Members recusing themselves are identified.
