Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the
Colorado Water Conservation Board will be held at the Quality
Inn Downtown, 1840 Sherman St., Denver, Colorado, commencing at
8:45 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 1981.

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

1. Approval of agenda.

2. Federal project cost-sharing and financing mechanisms.

A. Review of present laws and policies.
B. Review of basin fund accounts.
C. Review of pending proposals.

(1) Domenici-Moynihan bill.
(2) Amendments to Upper Colorado River Basin Fund.
(3) Others.
D. Public comments.
E. Discussion.

3. Director's report.

4. Attorney General's report.

5. State Engineer's report.

6. Adj ournment.

NOTE: This special meeting is being held for the purpose
of soliciting public comments on proposed changes in federal
cost-sharing and financing laws and policies. The Board encour-
ages all interested persons to make their views known and to
bring to the Board's attention ideas which they may have for the
future financing of water projects in Colorado. The Board expects
to formulate the outlines of a position on this matter at this
meeting in anticipation of congressional hearings later in the
month and during the fall.
