<br />The meeting was called to order Thursday, May 12, 2005, at 1:30 p,m" and was held at the Division
<br />of Wildlife Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, Those in recorded attendance included: Jack Byers,
<br />Mike Gillespie, Klaus Wolter, Roger Pielke, Sr., Reagan Waskom, Leon Sanders, Theo Stein,
<br />Bob Steger, Robin Knox, Olga Erlich, Marilyn Gaily, Sam Davidson, Esther Vincent, Brad Udall,
<br />Scott Archer, Mary R, Halstead, Bob Glancy, and Kathie Hepp-Lucki,
<br />
<br />Jack Bvers, Deputv State Engineer, DNR, W ATF Vice Chair
<br />Mr. Byers welcomed everyone to the meeting, and mentioned that he would be chairing the W A TF
<br />meetings only until someone was hired to fill the Water Conservation and Drought position at the
<br />Colorado Water Conservation Board,
<br />
<br />Mr. Byers said the infonnation that has been given to the Governor is that the drought is not
<br />declared over. He said we have had some wetter weather this year that has brought us up to normal
<br />and some places even above nonnal snowpack; we are looking at some potential flooding
<br />conditions in some parts of the state and nonnal water flow in other areas of the state, Mr. Byers
<br />stated that Colorado is still an arid, semiarid climate and water conservation and wise water use
<br />should always be considered,

<br />Snowpack, SWSI, Reservoir Storage, Streamflow Summary
<br />
<br />Mike Gillespie, Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS)
<br />Mr. Gillespie stated that our snowpack percentage from the previous month on April 1 was at 107%
<br />of average and 167% of last year, He commented that the same pattern is continuing slightly below
<br />average across the north and well above average in the southern part of the state, Mr. Gillespie said
<br />that April was a little dryer than average,
