To determine whether the Governor has signed the bill <br />or taken other action on it, please consult the legislative status sheet, the legIslative <br />history, or the Session Laws. <br /> <br /> <br />J) <br /> <br />--..-/ -- <br />~ <br /> <br />.-/~ <br /> <br />HOUSE BILL 06-1293 <br /> <br />BY REPRESENTATIVE(S) Hoppe, Curry, Madden, Stafford, Stengel, <br />Sullivan, Berens, and Rose; <br />also SENATOR(S) Grossman. <br /> <br />CONCERNING THE FEES ASSESSED ON THE REVIEW OF WATER PLANS TO <br />REPLACE DEPLETION CAUSED BY EVAPORATION FROM EXPOSURE <br />THAT ARE REQUIRED FOR OPEN MINING OF SEDIMENTARY STONE <br />P ARTICULATES USED IN CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS, AND MAKING AN <br />APPROPRIATION IN CONNECTION THEREWITH. <br /> <br />Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. 37-90-107 (6) (d), Colorado Revised Statutes, is <br />amended to read: <br /> <br />37-90-107. Application for use of ground water - publication of <br />notice - conditional permit - hearing on objections - well permits - <br />repeal. (6) (d) In addition to the well permit filing fee required by section <br />37-90-116, the commission shall collect the following fees FOR EXPOSING <br />GROUND WATER TO THE ATMOSPHERE FOR THE EXTRACTION OF SAND AND <br />GRAVEL BY OPEN MINING: <br /> <br />(I) For persons who exposed ground water to the atmosphere on or <br /> <br />Capital letters indicate new material added to existing statutes,' dashes through words indicate <br />deletions from existing statutes and such material not part of act. <br />
