WATER SUPPLY AND STORAGE COMPANY <br />GRAND RIVER DITCH & KLUVER RESERVOIR OUTLET PROJECT <br />Proiect Description <br />The Water Supply and Storage Company collects, diverts and delivers water from the Cache la Poudre River <br />and two trans- mountain diversions. Grand River Ditch, located in Rocky Mountain National Park is a <br />collection facility for water diverted over the Continental Divide, delivering 18,000 AF annually for the <br />irrigation of 40,000 acres. A portion of this project involves the installation of a CMP to replace a section of <br />the ditched that was breeched by an avalanche on May 29, 2003. The other portion of this project was the <br />repair of the Travis Road crossing of the inlet/outlet canal between Kluver Reservoir and Reservoir #4, <br />involving the repair of concrete retaining walls that have, or a nearly failed and repair of the road surface that <br />had partially collapsed. <br />Proiect Data <br />Sponsor: Water Supply and Storage Co.
