The NDMC offered technical assistance to state officials and those working on the
update of the Colorado Drought Mitigation and Response Plan covering three
essential aspects of which the NDMC has particular strength: 1) monitoring, triggers,
and mitigation expertise; 2) risk assessment experience; and 3) overall plan
development strategy.
Task 1: Monitoring, Triggers, and Mitigation
To accomplish this technical assistance task, a budget that includes 60 hours of
NDMC staff time over the next 9 -month period at a rate of $50 /hour is requested.
24 hours @ $50 /hour = $400

Task 2: Risk Assessment
To accomplish this technical assistance task, a budget that includes 60 hours of
NDMC staff time over the next 9 -month period at a rate of $50 /hour is requested.
