The Town's water
supply come from two systems: a north supply system and a south supply system. In September of 2007
Well #5, located on the north field, failed. Histarically, Well #5 had supplied 60 acre-feet on an annual
basis. Without Well #5, the Town was left with the uncertainty of not being unable to meet its water
demands during the summer months. Therefore, it became critical far the Town to re-drill Well #5 in
order to meet the future water needs of the Town. This project involved the re-drilling and casement of
Well #5 into the Arapahoe Aquifer, new supply line, and minor reconfiguration of the pump house.
Proiect Data
Sponsor: Town of Bennett County: Arapahoe/Adams Water Source: Arapahoe Aquifer
Terms of Loan: $248,570@3.5% for 30-yrs.
