Walker <br />Deputy Director <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />Interested Parties 1~ <br />Bill McDonald /fiiJJ~ <br />March S. 1990 <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Proposed Agreement for the Donation of a Water <br />Right on the Gunnison River by The Nature Conservancy <br /> <br />Representatives of The Nature Conservancy and the <br />Uncompahgre Valley Water Users Association and I. on behalf of <br />the Colorado Water Conservation Board, have prepared a final <br />draft of the sUbject agreement for the consideration of our <br />respective clients and boards. A copy is enclosed for your <br />information. You will note that there are two versions of <br />paragraph l4(d) in this draft. This reflects the one remaining <br />issue among the parties which is still under discussion. <br /> <br />The Water Conservation Board expects to take final action <br />on the proposed donation agreement at its March 22-23 meeting. <br />Those wishing to comment to the Board on the proposed donation <br />agreement may do so either in writing or orally at the Board <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Written statements received at the Board's Denver office by <br />Thursday, March 15. will be mailed to Board members. <br />Alternatively. you may send your written statements directly to <br />Board members at the addresses shown on the enclosed mailing <br />list. <br /> <br />If you wish to present oral comments to the Board. this <br />matter will be taken up at about 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. March <br />22. The Board will be meeting at the Warwick Hotel at 18th and <br />Grant. Denver.
