There were lots of concerns expressed with the Study at this <br />meeting. Study findings are in reports posted on the CWCB website. Meeting minutes are designed <br />to provide an overview of discussions. The goal is to keep the communication and coordination <br />between all interested parties: Tetra Tech, Colorado State Parks, the CWCB, the Division of <br />Wildlife, the Fish & Wildlife Service, and the Corps of Engineers - Omaha District, water users and <br />environmental groups. <br /> <br />Recreation Mitil!.ation Study <br />CWCB has completed a report dated February 2004 called the "Chatfield Reservoir Recreation <br />Mitigation Study" completed by EDA W in Fort Collins. <br />. EDA W was contracted and completed a very detailed study that estimated approximately $30 <br />Million to replace or relocate parks facilities from 5432 up and above to 5444 mean sea level <br />with 2 ft of freeboard for wave action from wind. <br />. The Sear Brown Group of Fort Collins was subcontracted for this study for specific roadway and <br />bridge design work tasks. The Sear Brown analysis/results are incorporated into the EDA W <br />study. <br />. Facility and recreation amenity relocation levels were to accommodate for a reallocated 20,600 <br />AF of storage space to be part of the normal operating pool for water users. <br /> <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />Flood Protection.
