Meeting minutes are designed to provide an overview of
discussions. The goal is to keep the communication and coordination between all interested parties:
Tetra Tech, Colorado State Parks, the CWCB, the Division of Wildlife, the Fish & Wildlife Service,
and the Corps of Engineers - Omaha District, water users and environmental groups.

Meeting Topics
. Corps presentation on the reservoir routing model
. Proposed corps recreation site policy on federal reservoirs
. EIS vs. EA and scoping process
. Discussion of Water Users Sub-Committee

Overview of CWCB/Corps Internal Meeting
The CWCB and the Corps had an internal project review meeting May 4th at the CWCB offices to
discuss study accomplishments, where we need to be, the need for a water users allocation
committee, and the Corps reservoir routing model findings. When the Corps set up this model it
initially showed that only 2,200 AF of storage space would be available without some reservoir
changes. But it was clear to the Corps and CWCB that this was a needed project in Colorado so the
Corps investigated ways to get 20,600 AF of additional storage space. This news was encouraging
as there is a range of options to get the 20,600 AF of storage space. It was agreed by the meeting

Colorado Water Conservation Board
Flood Protection - Water Supply Planning and Finance - Stream and Lake Protection
Water Supply Protection - Conservation and Drought Planning
