Governance Committee Adaptive Management Workshop <br />February 23, 2005 - 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. <br />Crvstal Inn- DIA, Denver, Colorado <br />Workshop Purpose: Review, discuss, and comment on the draft Adaptive Management Plan <br />9:00-9:15 Welcome and Introductions <br />9:15-10:00 What is Adaptive Management Carol Murray, ESSA Technologies <br />Carol Murray will provide a general review of the concepts of adaptive <br />management and provide examples of existing adaptive management effort <br />programs. Time will be provided for the GC to ask questions of Carol and the <br />other adaptive management experts. <br />10:00-10:30 Review oi Process used to develop AMP Dale Strickland, AM Advisors <br />• Wor)cshops - October to present <br />• Technical and policy issues <br />10:30-11:00 Overview of AMP Dale Strickland <br />Dale will provide a brief overview of the draft Adaptive Management Plan, <br />identify areas that need work, describe the process and time line for completing <br />the work, and highlight major issues identified during the February 22 workshop. <br />11:00-12:00 Detailed discussion of AMP and its sections Group <br />This discussion will focus on major areas of concern and disagreement. Editing <br />will be attempted if it appears that areas of disagreement can be resolved. Where <br />areas of disagreement can not be quickly resolved a process for resolution will be <br />identified.
