He reported that they do not plan to adjust their 2001 AOP.
North Platte - Myler went through the North Platte operations update he distributed. He
indicated there's been a slight improvement since last week, 75% of average to about 82%. The
snow/precipitation from last week would not have much effect because it came into the system
low. He reported that projections indicate there will be no Waste (spill). Tullis explained how
the NE vs. WY settlement agreement will designate a specific amount for run-off plus carry-over.
He explained that prior to the settlement agreement, no number was set. Based upon the
projected end-of-Sept. carry-over storage, there may be an allocation of water in future years if
the dry conditions persist. Tullis also stated that the Kendrick project will not receive any
storage this year.
South Platte - Brown went through the South Platte water information report he distributed. He
indicated that most reservoirs on the S. Platte are now topped off. He mentioned a letter they
received from a Colorado River conservancy district voicing concern over the administration of
transbasin diversions.
1
