~ <br />Colorad~~ Water Conservation Board <br />COOPERA,TING TECHNICAL PARTNERS <br />MAPPtNG ACTtVITY STATEMENT <br />Map~ing e4ctivity St~terraent Nc~. 7- Digitao Flood Insurance Rate Map <br />Production and Dev~lop~nent m~f Upclated F~ood Data <br />In accordance with the Cooperating Technical Partners (CTP) Partnership Agreement dated July 15, 2002 <br />between Colorado Water Conservation Board i;CWCB) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency <br />(FEMA), Mapping Activity Statement (MAS) No. 7is as follows. <br />Sect~on 1-Objective and Scop~e <br />The objective of the Flood Map Project docum.ented in this MAS is to develop a Digital Flood Insurance <br />Rate l~ap (DFIRM) and Flood Insurance Stud;y (FIS) report for ~,arimer County and Incorporated areas, <br />including the Town of Estes Park, the City of Fort Collins, the City of Loveland, the Town of Timnath, <br />and th~ Town of Wellington, all of which mumicipalities lie entirely within the boundaries of Larimer <br />County. The Flood Map Project documented in this MAS will also develop digital floodplain dat~ for <br />Town of Berthoud, the Town of Johnstown, an~d the Town of Windsor, portions of which municipalities <br />are within the boundaries of Larimer County, ~ind the remainder of which is within the boundaries of <br />Weld County. T'he product of this MAS will b~e a single set of digital floodplain data for the entire <br />~ county. <br />The D~IRM and ~'IS report will be produced i~i the FEMA County-wide Format. <br />In addition, the 1Vgapping Parhiers involved in lhis project will conduct a technical review of all relevant <br />e~cisting flood hazard data for unincorporated ~iortions of Lazimer County and for incorporated <br />mtanicipalities within Larimer County. <br />Within 30 days of this agreement, the CTP, irn coordination with the National Service Provider (NSP), <br />shall in.put the scope of work into the FEMA Scoping tool. This includes information concerning <br />comm~anity ordinance data, local GIS data avaiilability and the flood reach data for existing and proposed <br />conditions. The FEMA Scoping tool documentation can be found at <br />, <br />r~~~:.,~ uv~n~~r~~r~~;,~~4;,v ~rrr ~c; c~s,sr~~m;;--;.7~~~~~:.G::,~ur~. <br />The CTP/IDIQ shall notify FEMA and the NS]P by e-mail of all meetings with community officials at <br />least one week prflor to the meeting. FEMA an.d/or the NSP may or may not attend the community <br />meetin~s. <br />The following wifll complete this Flood Map P~roject: <br />• Colorado Ve~ater Conservation Board; <br />• PBS&J Team, contractor to CWCB; <br />• FEMA <br />
