CRDSS <br />TASK MEMORANDUM 1.04-1 <br />Hardware/Software <br />1.0 ISSUE <br />The purpose of this memorandum is to describe the hardware/software acquired during Phase I of the <br />CRDSS Project. Also described is the setting of the established Briefing Room. <br />2.0 DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS <br />The inventory of State hardware/software existing at the initiation of Phase I and available for use in <br />CRDSS project development includes: <br />Two (2) Silicon Graphics Indigo 1 Workstations, one with a 1-gigabyte internal hard drive, <br />? <br />and the other with a total of approximately 3 gigabytes in internal and external hard drives. <br />These systems have 19-inch monitors. (One of these systems has been transferred to the <br />Consultant Team for use in CRDSS development). <br />Two (2) ARC/INFO licenses being used by the Division of Water Resources for irrigated <br />? <br />acreage database creation. <br />One (1) INFORMIX database manager, providing the foundation for the HYDROBASE <br />? <br />database development being conducted by the Division of Water Resources. <br />The following additional hardware/software data has been acquired by the CWCB during Phase I to <br />assist in CRDSS development: <br />Four (4) Silicon Graphics Indy workstations (three of which have been transferred to the <br />? <br />Consultant Team for use in CRDSS development and one of which will be retained by the <br />State for use in the Briefing Room). <br />One (1) Silicon Graphics Indigo2 workstation, which has been transferred to the Consultant <br />? <br />Team for use as the primary CRDSS development platform. <br />Two (2) floating licenses for ARC/INFO GIS managers, which have been transferred to the <br />? <br />Consultant Team for use in CRDSS development. <br />Two (2) ARCVIEW GIS viewers (one of which has been transferred to the Consultant <br />? <br />Team and the other of which will be retained for use on the Briefing Room system). <br />One (1) INFORMIX relational database manager (with eight floating licenses) to be used <br />? <br />by the Consultant Team. <br />Five (5) runtime versions of the INFORMIX software, four of which have been transferred <br />? <br />to the Consultant Team and one of which will be retained for the Briefing Room system. <br />1 <br />A275 05.10.94 1.04-1 Bethel <br />
