Hallford <br />Ben Harding <br /> <br />FROM: Eric Kuhn <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Review and Comment Draft <br /> <br />Attached is a review and comment draft of a paper I've prepared on Colorado River issues. <br />As you may be aware, the Colorado River District and the Southwestern Water Conservation District <br />are hosting the four Colorado River Basin Roundtables for a joint meeting on June 18, 2007 at the <br />Pavilion in Montrose. <br /> <br />The primary purposes of this paper are to provide West Slope Roundtables with referenced <br />materials on Colorado River issues and hopefully encourage additional discussion of Colorado River <br />issues both within and among the Roundtables, the Interbasin Compact Commission (IBCC) and the <br />other parties interested in the matter. <br /> <br />The paper is relatively lengthy. For those of you with no real interest in my interpretation <br />of the history of the development of the Colorado River, skip to Chapters VI, VII and VIII. <br /> <br />I am interested in and would welcome your comments, thoughts and suggestions. Your <br />review draft does not include the appendices, bibliography, suggested reading list and glossary. <br />These will be included in the version that is provided to the Roundtables.
