I would
suggest
rewording as follows: URecognize the value of providing
water for
recreational use."

Objective 4: The first Subobjective is again an absolute statement. I
would strike this Subojective.

Reword the second Subobjective to read uMinimize/mitgate
environmental impacts of new projects.11

Objective 5: Need clarification on how "Provide for funding eligibility"
isa

Subobjective+

I would consider striking the Subobjective UMitigate for
third party
economic impacts~ H Who determines that a third party has

been

impacted? This can create all kinds of problems.

Objective 6: I would reword Subobjective Two to considers long term
values vents provides for long term needs~ ,

The maintenance of open space is a land use issue not a
water supply issue. I would strike this Subobjective.

If you have any questions on my conunents I can be reached at 970-330-1828~

Harold Evans

1
