In a letter"dated September 26,2001. " P.E. ofWRC Engineering, Inc.
requested that FEMA revise the FIRM to show the effects of Brookhaven at Columbine Valley
Subdivision project along Drainageway D, Middlefield Road to Watson Lane.

All data required to complete our review of this request were submitted with letters from
of Love & Associates, Inc.

a and

We have completed our review of the submitted data and the flood data shown on the effective FIRM.
We have revised the FIRM to modify the floodplain boundary delineations and zone designations ofthe
flood having a I-percent chance of being equaled or exceeded in any given year (base flood) along
Drainageway D. As a result of the modifications, the width of the Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA),
the area that would be inundated by the base flood, for Drainageway D increased in some areas and
decreased in other' areas. This Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) incorporates an adjacent project,
Country Club Villas (Case No. 02-08-040P). Revisions to the FIRM include changing the existing Zone
X (shaded), the flood hazard zone used to designate areas subject to flooding from the 0.2-percent-
annual-chance flood. to Zone A with a residual Zone X (shaded). The modifications are shown on the
enclosed annotated copy of FIRM Panel 08005C0435 J. This LOMR hereby revises the above-
referenced panels of the effective FIRM dated August 16, 1995.

Because this revision request also affects the City of Littleton, a separate LOMR for that community was
issued on the same date as this LOMR.

The modifications are effective as of the date shown above. The map panels as listed above and as
modified by this letter will be used for all flood insurance policies and renewals issued for your
community.

A review of the determination made by this LOMR and any requests to alter this determination should be
made within 30 days. Any request to alter the determination must be based on scientific or technical
data.
