This is an application for a plan for augmentation to cover out-of-priority evaporative depletions for
the RFC Ditch. Applicant seeks absolute and conditional water rights for the RFC Ditch (in Case
No. 07CW054) for a total of 31 cfs for uses that include irrigation aesthetic, recreation, piscatorial
and filling ponds. Including other water rights associated with this structure, Applicant seeks to
divert up to 40 cfs from the Roaring Fork River into the RFC Ditch on a year-round basis. The RFC
Ditch is designed as a flow-through watercourse that traverses through Club property and returns to
the Roaring Fork River approximately 3,130 feet downstream. Applicant has applied for an
Allotment Contract from the Basalt Water Conservancy District to augment out-of-priority
evaporative depletions. The replacement water includes releases from Ruedi Reservoir and historic
irrigation consumptive use credits.
