<br /> <br /> <br /> DATE: February 2, 2006 <br /> <br /> TO: Gunnison Basin Roundtable Members <br /> <br /> FROM: Michelle Pierce, Chairperson <br /> <br /> SUBJECT: Report <br /> <br />Probably the most significant thing I have to report is that its looks like I may have been <br />successful in scheduling a telephone conf erence call during our meeting on Monday with <br />Representatives Curry and Penry and Senator Isgar. We will call into Mr. Isgar’s office at 4:30 <br />p.m. As of this writing, the call has not been completely confirmed with Mr. Penry. Ms. Curry <br />may be a little l ate due to a committee meeting she has scheduled earlier that day but her staff <br />has assured me that they will do their best to get her there on time . <br /> <br />In view of the fact that we have set aside quite a bit of time on this agenda for Eric Kuhn’s <br />presentatio n, we will need to keep our conference call as focused and brief as possible. Please <br />try to give some thought to the specific issues we want to discuss with these legislators so we <br />can make the best use of our limited time. <br /> <br />I did respond to Mr. Miller’s request for time on a future agenda advising him that we will contact <br />him at a later date to arrange a time for his presentation once the roundtable members are <br />ready to discuss proposed projects and solutions. He is still sending correspondence , however, <br />and I will set it aside for consideration when the time comes. <br /> <br />For your information, Ron Shaver was elected to a non - voting seat on the Dolores/San <br />Juan/San Miguel Roundtable. Ron believes he will be able to attend most of their meetings . <br />Many thanks t o Ron for his willingness to serve on both roundtables. <br />
