Federal Emergency Management Agency
Washington, D.C. 20472

SEP 3 0 2004

CERTIFIED MAIL
RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED

IN REPLY REFER TO:
Case No.: 04-08-0695X

The Honorable Karen Stuart
Mayor, City and County of Broomfield
One DesCombes Drive
Broomfield, CO 80020

Community: City and County of
Broomfield, CO
Community No.: 085073
Ef~ective.~ate of SEP 3 0 2004
This RevlSlon:

102

Dear Mayor Stuart:

This Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) was prepared by the Department of Homeland Security's Federal
Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to revise portions of a previous LOMR that was issued on
May 19, 2004, and became effective on September 1,2004 (Case No. 04-08-0259P), in accordance with
Part 65 of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) regulations. The May 19 LOMR revised the
effective Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) and Flood Insurance Study (FIS) for your community to show
the effects of the Northwest Parkway along Rock Creek from approximately 3,000 feet downstream to
approximately 3,900 feet upstream of Dillon Road. Because the effective date of that LOMR was later
then the effective date (August 18, 2004) of the new countywide FIRM and FIS report for your
community, which was being processed at the time of the revision request, the updated map panel
numbers, profile panel numbers, and vertical datum were used for the annotated FIRM and FIS report
included with the May 19 LOMR. However, the FIRM panel number was incorrectly shown on the
annotated FIRM panel attached to that LOMR. The purpose of this LOMR is to show the proper FIRM
panel numbcr on the annotated FIRM panel for the May 19 LOMR.

We have revised the FIRM panel from the May 19 LOMR to reflect the correct FIRM panel number. The
flood hazard information shown on the annotated FIRM panel and profile panel enclosed with the May 19
LOMR has not changed. The corrected FIRM panel number is shown on the enclosed annotated copy of
FIRM Panel 0079 F. For your reference, we also have enclosed the Determination Document and an
annotated copy of Profile Pane134P that was transmitted with the May 19 LOMR. This LOMR is
effective as of the date shown above.
