<br />JULESBURG IRRIGATION DISTRICT - PETERSON DITCH CONTROL STRUCTURE <br /> <br /> <br />Contractor Pouring Concrete Retaining Wall <br /> <br />Proiect Descriotion <br /> <br />This $160,000 project involved the reconstruction of the Julesburg Irrigation District's <br />Peterson Ditch control structure at Lodgepole Creek. The improvements involved the construction <br />of a new 12-ft. wide drop chute spillway that drops flood flows into Lodgepole Creek, and the <br />construction of a water control structure on Peterson Ditch. The water control structure <br />incorporates a 3-ft. slide gate to direct water into a cutthroat flume to measure augmentation flows. <br />The project was designed by the Natural Resource Conservation Service, Sterling Office, and <br />constructed by Concrete Specialties, from Sterling, Colorado. <br /> <br />Proiect Data <br /> <br />Sponsor: Julesburg Irrig.
