<br />BOULDER AND LEFfHAND IRRIGA nON COMPANY <br />DAVIS NO.1 DAM OUTLET WORKS AND SPILLWAY REHABILIT AnON <br /> <br /> <br />Looking east across the dam at the new combined outlet and spillway structure. <br /> <br />Project Description <br /> <br />The Davis No, I Dam is an equalizing reservoir that has an existing capacity of218 acre- <br />feet, located approximately 5 miles northeast of Boulder, The State Engineer's Office during <br />inspection of the facility determined that an outlet pipe had deteriorated beyond repair and that a <br />new spillway be incorporated into the reservoir. Given possible restrictions imposed by the State <br />Engineer's Office, the Boulder and Lefthand Irrigation Company elected to construct a combined <br />outlet/spillway structure. The new control structure consists of a 30" steel outlet pipe and <br />headgate, with a 36" drop inlet/spillway structure. The project was designed by Rocky Mountain <br />Consultants, Longmont, Colorado, The project was constructed by Kemp-Hoffman, out of <br />Northglenn, Colorado at a total project cost of $175,000, <br /> <br />Proiect Data <br /> <br />Sponsor: Boulder & Lefthand Irrigation Co.
