'?
1.
W
....
~
~

.

.

- ~

PROGRESS REPORT

JANUARY 21, 1980

In 1979, membership in the Association was 135, representing 442 wells or

about 62% of the wells in District #67.

Income from membership and back dues in 1979 amounted to $31,205.00. For

comparison, in 1978, we had 145 members representing 451 wells with dues

and back dues amounting to $37,480,00. The difference in the amount collected

in 1979 compared to 1978, waS largely a result of less back dues paid, In

1979, back dues were $330.00 compared to $6,106.00 in 1978.

The Association had major expenses on repairing and redrilling wells in 1979,

Flint well was completely redrilled and re-equipped. A new and heavier con-

duit was installed on Hardin well. The Association has a permit for an ad-

ditional well to be drilled on Flint. The work has been contracted and the

casing and gravel are on the site, just waiting for a break in the weather

for the work to proceed. Pump and motor from the old Flint well will be

used on the new well.

A three foot box Parshall flume was installed, in December 1979, on the

bank of Buffalo Canal between Flint, State and the proposed new well. It

will discharge into Buffalo Canal.

,

The pipeline that was leaking between State well and Buffalo Canal has

been repaired and replaced as necessary.
