Streams2007_NHD is a feature class composed of high resolution NHD line work depicting the stream reaches where the Stream and Lake Protection Section of the Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) has appropriated an instream flow water right through July 2007.

The purpose of Streams2007_NHD is to provide a spatial representation of the stream reaches where the Stream and Lake Protection Section of the Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) has appropriated an instream flow water right through July 2007.
Supplemental_Information:
The ISF_Type field in Streams2007_NHD indicates whether the instream flow water right was appropriated by, enlarged by, or donated to the CWCB.

Since each stream reach in Streams2007 has an upper and a lower termini point, there should always be twice as many termini points in the ISFTermini2004 shapefile as in the Streams2007 shapefile.

In such instances, the GIS layer represents the CWCB staff's best effort to interpret and represent the true intent of the CWCB at the time it made its appropriation on such streams or lakes.

The CWCB staff intends to update its GIS layers annually to reflect any new appropriations that are made by the CWCB each year and to correct any errors in prior versions of the GIS Layers that might be brought to the staff's attention. Please feel free to notify the CWCB of any apparent errors in the GIS Layer so that the staff can research the apparent error and corrected them if necessary.
