Parcels boundaries were digitized using UTM Zone 13, NAD27, projection from 5m IRS satellite images. Crop type was determined from evaluation of four sources: 1) supervised classification using three 25m Landsat images, 2) Agro Engineering, Inc. 1998 client database, 3) Rio Grande Water Conservation District (RGWCD) crop database, and 4) limited field verification. Crop type agreed at least 92% with RGWCD crop type. Irrigation type was determined from visual inspection of 5m satellite images. Wellhead location database and water district boundary, county, and HUC spatial coverage's were provided by other RGDSS contractors. RGWCD crop type database was provided by RGWCD. Ditch coverage database was provided by Agro Engineering, Inc.

A "na" exists if a wd_id or permit number was not provided for the well.
