<br />.\ <br /> <br />.. .-1 <br />.;," <br /> <br />The GCES Final Report is an integration of over 30 technical <br />reports on individual research projects which may be obtained <br />through the National Technical Information Service (NTIS). <br />The technical reports were reviewed by a wide range of <br />academic and management staff. <br /> <br />A report titled "River and Dam Management" by the National <br />Academy of Science Review Committee is a review of the tech- <br />nical reports and the GCES Final Report and is also available <br />through NTIS. <br /> <br />An Executive Review Committee Report is being consolidated <br />regarding future actions which could be taken based on the <br />technical results of the GCES. It will contain recommenda- <br />tions of a management and policy level group representing the <br />Bureau of Reclamation, National Park Service, Fish & Wildlife <br />service, the Department of the Interior, and the Western Area <br />Power Administration. <br /> <br />All of the reports and recommendations relating to the Glen <br />Canyon Environmental Studies will be forwarded to the Depart- <br />ment of the Interior. From this information, the Secretary <br />of the Interior will determine the need to initiate any fur- <br />ther study of the operational effects of the Glen Canyon Dam. <br /> <br />For further information the GCES Program, please contact: <br /> <br />David L.
