<br />TASK NO: 11 <br /> <br />Aquatic Resource Studies <br /> <br />SUBTASKNO: 11c <br /> <br />Fish Population Sampling <br /> <br />PURPOSE: <br /> <br />The purpose of this subtask is to obtain information on fish <br />populations within the study area at locations where additional <br />data needs are identified. The specific objectives of this subtask <br />are to: <br /> <br />Identify the fishery resources to be affected by the proposed <br />project, <br /> <br />- Quantify the productivity of fish populations within the study <br /> <br />area, <br /> <br />- Document seasonal variations in the fishery resource within <br />the study area, and <br /> <br />- Develop information necessary to quantify changes in the <br />fishery resource resulting from project construction and <br />operation. <br /> <br />This study'has been significantly advanced during previous efforts <br />for the NCWCD. Results from additional fish population sampling <br />will be combined with those from previous sampling efforts in <br />reports for Task 11. <br /> <br />6162a <br /> <br />11-6 <br />
