If the Joseph City Irrigation Company continues to depend on <br />the Little Colorado River as a major source of irrigation water, it is <br />recommended that this water be blended with the better quality ground- <br />water to reduce the sodium concentration, and that the County Agricul- <br />tural Agent, the State University or the U. S. Department of Agriculture <br />be requested to determine the proper blend of waters and other means <br />of solving the cultural problems caused by the high sodium concentration. <br /> <br />51. If the recovery of additional groundwater is undertaken, it is <br />recommended that the advice of the State University or the U. S. <br />Geological Survey be obtained on the proper spacing, drilling, and <br />casing of wells and the proper type and capacities of equipment to <br />ins tall. <br /> <br />52.
