It is a river which <br /> <br /> <br />can support a great deal of use; use can be expected to grow accordingly. <br /> <br /> <br />It will be studied by the BLM during the summer season, 1977, for formula- <br /> <br /> <br />tion of a plan for river management by that agency. <br /> <br />Tributaries - Tributaries of the Arkansas recieve almost no boater use whatso- <br /> <br /> <br />ever. The mountain tributaries are too steep and rocky to be navigable <br /> <br /> <br />and those on the plains rarely have water sufficient for boating. <br /> <br />-25- <br />
