Sediment Peer Review Panel Workshop

Thank you for your work on the Yampa River Basin Sediment Peer Review Panel. I have attached
the workshop reports for your files. I am pleased to inform you that parts of the proposal for future
sediment collection work has been included in the Yampa River Management Plan Scope of work for
FY -98 and hopefully will be funded. I also hope to implement the reminder of the panel
recommendations in future years.

I plan to follow up on the workshop by printing and distribution the Summary of Available Data
Report and distributing it widely to state and federal agencies and Universities in the Upper Colorado
