Alternatives AI, A2, CI, and C2. Selection of artificial reaeration site(s) will be critical to
successfully implementing Alternatives B, CI, C2, and D. Although filtration of Central Plant
effluent (Alternative E) may be attractive from a water reuse perspective, existing sediments may
continue to cause stream DO depletion for some time. The District may want to evaluate the
costlbenefit of filtration, coupled with limited sediment dredging and stream channel modifications, in
terms of overall benetits to the metropolitan Denver water supply, as well as the alleviation of DO
problems .in Segment IS.
