The 49th Annual Meeting of the Rio
South Dakota, at the invitation of

Grande Compact Commission was held in Rapid City,
the Federal representative, on April 7, 1988.

The Commission reviewed its prior reports and the current reports of the Secretary
relative to streamflow at Compact gaging stations and storage in reservoirs. The
Commission reaffirmed its previous finding that actual spill of usable water commenced
in January 1987. No annual credits or debits were computed for 1987 pursuant to
Ariticles I and VI of the Rio Grande Compact.
