Diversions for the
Boulder Canyon projeot are listed along with diversions for the National Park
Servioe and Boulder City. Diversions to Boulder City and the National Park
Servioe should be oharged to those entities.

Boulder Citv - Although Boulder City takes deliveries through the Robert B.
Griffith System, only those deliveries taken from the Boulder Canyon Projeot
should be oharged to it as a diversion (see preceding paragraph). For
aooounting purposes, Boulder City, along with four other end users, is not
oonsidered to be a diverter for water reoeived through the Robert B. Griffith
Project. The Robert B. Griffith Project itself is the diverter in this ease
(see Section 3A).

Lake Mead National Recreation Area - These diversions are found in
Service section of the Decree Accounting binder (monthly reports).
diversion for the Lake Mead National Recreation Area is the sum of
diversions for:
1.) Boulder Beach (Visitor Center and Lake Mead)
2.) CallvUle Bay
3.) Echo Bay
4.) Overton Beach
5.) Deliveries taken from Boulder Canyon Project Diversions
6.) Since June 1, 1990. deliveries through the Basic Management. Ino..
(BMI) system. It has been agreed with LC-443 that deliveries
through the BMI system prior to this date should. in the interest of
continuity in the accounting approaoh. be charged to BMI. (See
paragraph following.)

the Park

The

the

Basie Manaoement Inc. (BMI) - These reports, under BMI in the Decree
Accounting binder. show the total pumped from Lake Mead by BMI, and the amount
sold to the Park Service and Henderson. Due to a change to the 8MI contract.
the Park Service and the City of Henderson should be charged for the water
they received through the 8MI system beginning June 1, 1990. This will
require the creation of an entry for the City of Henderson (heretofore not
listed in the Decree Report) for 1990. BMI's diversion is the difference
between the total pumped and that sold to the Park Service and the City of
Henderson.

31

I
