As can be seen from the sample WLDS and the discussion above, the breakdown of
wasteway flows as shown on the WLDS is not necessary to the computational
process as presently carried out. These flows simply become part of the total
losses and are distributed to the users on the acre-feet mile basis. The
breakdown of wasteway losses on the WLDS serves a notational function only.

provided on the monthly FAX from YFO. For yearly accounting. YFO furnishes
Form No. Y~O-123 in the yearly hydrographic tabulations. Yuma Proving Ground
is a U.S. Army facility.

Lines Number 6 and 7 - The North Gila Valley Irrigation District has two
delivery po,ints on the GGMC. Monthly accounting data are furnished by YFO on
the FAX report and may also be taken from the USGS monthly provisional
listings for USGS Stations 09522600 and 09522650. Final values for yearly
accoun~ing ~hould be taken from the USGS calendar year r~por~ for ~he same
s'ta't ions.

Line Number'S - Deliveries for Steve Sturges for both monthly and yearly
accounting are furnished by YFO onl.y. Monthly values are given on the YFO FAX
report; yearly deliveries are detailed on Form No. YFO-123. W.A. signifies
that Steve Sturges is a Warren Act Contractor. The Warren Act of 1911 made
clear the authority of the Secretary of the Interior to contract with
individuals, corpora~ions, associa~ions, and irrigation distric~s for the
impoundlllen't,' s-toring. and carriage of wa"ter for irriga"tion purposes on lands
not included within a government project.
